LOS ANGELES, California: B-52 Professional announces the release of the revolutionary PRODIGY FX. The PRODIGY FX is a precision crafted professional DJ workstation designed to satisfy the most demanding performer – the professional DJ.  The innovative “console” design features two touch-sensitive, scratching CD/MP3 players with onboard DSP effects and a high performance 4-channel VCA mixer.  The PRODIGY FX is built to withstand the rigors of the road with a robust, custom flight case easily carried in one hand included.

More than two years of market research, planning and precision engineering was spent in designing and building the PRODIGY FX. It marks B-52’s first entry into the DJ electronics category.

“Getting it right was priority one” B-52 Vice-President Avi El-Kiss said. “We wanted to create a high end all-in-one DJ solution a professional DJ would actually want to use.”

The result is a practically crafted and well construction workstation, which is loaded with features and effects yet compact and light enough to carry with one hand.

“There is simply nothing like it in the market place today,” Avi adds.

The PRODIGY FX is capable of playing any format of CD, CDR or MP3 disk with no effects latency while offering two touch sensitive jog wheels, numerous effects with parameter controls, master tempo, fader start, crossfader curve control, sampling and hundreds of other features.  The 4-channel VCA mixer includes a three band EQ with kill switches on all channels, dual rail Accutrack™ crossfader, three MIC inputs with DSP reverb and CD direct analog and digital outputs for seamless integration of Serato Scratch Live, Synchroscience Torq and all other time coded systems.

The power reset causes the unit to re-boot and spit out the jammed disc. This is very forward thinking on behalf of the manufacturer”.
