The
B-52 FX-Series is designed for mobile DJs
and traveling bands who play to large audiences.
FX-Series systems reproduce live sound
and music playback with exceptional sonic
accuracy from detailed highs to thundering
lows. Built for maximum SPL and clarity,
the full-range cabinets can be used as
stand-alone systems or combined with the
FX-1818S subwoofer for a compact concert
rig.
A 2” exit titanium diaphragm compression driver is utilized in the full-range
systems. |

B-52 FX-1818 is the largest FX-Series
full-range system boasting 1100 watts power
handling. The dual
B-52 18-180 woofers are designed to mate
with the 2” exit titanium
diaphragm compression driver without sacrificing
midrange reproduction. The FX-1818 combines
thundering bass, smooth midrange and
crisp highs for the ultimate stand-alone
system. |

2” EXIT TITANIUM COMPRESSION DRIVER
The B-52 COMP-3300 compression driver features
a 2" exit pure titanium diaphragm
designed with impregnated polymer fiber
surround for high sensitivity, low distortion
and a smooth extended frequency response.
An optimized aluminum injected phase plug
prevents phase cancellation problems. High
flux density magnetic assembly with copper
shorting ring lowers distortion and reduces
the voice coil self-inductance. The compression
driver's base and cover are aluminum assuring
high resistance.
